I have been in love with organizational efficiency for over 30 years.

My passion began during my time at GE where, through extensive training and practical application, I became a Six Sigma Black Belt. But it wasn’t until I was at Disney when I saw the benefits that efficiency brought to brilliant visionary leaders who need more than good ideas and charisma to get traction on transformational ideas. They needed a smart plan that everyone bought into and will actually execute.

After my time at Disney, I knew that there were so many other companies I could help realize their potential. It’s for this reason, Heather Havey Consulting was born.

My company is all about empowering leaders who want to change the world. I believe it would be a tragedy if the world missed out on the ideas visionary leaders have to offer.

In 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and that same year my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He passed away not long after his diagnosis. I was fortunate … I received treatment and live to tell the story. I am a survivor.

That experience taught me that time is precious. You don’t know what’s next. You need to make the most of each day. That’s when my passion for efficiency became an imperative.
